Buddha’s Light’ over Chinese mountain

The light phenomenon known as the ‘Buddha’s Light’ appeared in June 2011 above the Yuntai temple on Yuntai Mountain outside Chongqing City, in Sichuan Province, China. Glowing with seven different colours, the circle of the “Buddha’s Light” appeared in the west while the sun was still rising in the east, and lasted about half-an-hour.

“With the emergence of sunshine after the rain, some friends invited me together with a tai chi instructor to take pictures on Yuntai Mountain,” Puti Wushu writes in his blog. “Upon our arrival at the Yuantong Hall of Yuntai Temple, we witnessed one circle of mystical Buddha light which had not been seen for ages. All of us felt great joy to see the sight. Astoundingly, in the center of the Buddha light was a human shadow.”

“Though five or six of us stood in a line, each of us just saw our own single shadow. At first we found it hard to believe. Then one of us waved his arms with the rest remaining still. What he saw and what he photographed was only his own shadow with his arms waving. Meanwhile, what the rest of us snapped was our single fixed shadow in the center of the Buddha light.”

‘Buddha’s Light’ is considered to be a ‘glory’ – an optical and meteorological phenomenon that is believed to arise when light rays enter water droplets at opposite points and then undergo internal reflection. The first recorded example in China was on Mt Emei in AD 63. When the individual viewer always sees his or her own reflection in the image, it is regarded as a sign of personal enlightenment and the Buddha’s blessing. (Source: chinauncensored.com)

Change towards Unity

When men eventually take stock of their present situation they must surely admit that all is not well for humanity. Political, economic, social, environmental conditions are filled with problems which test the resources of all the countries to the limit. Even those countries which seem to be economically dominant at the present time have problems which deny them the ease their wealth implies. What is preventing the nations from achieving a degree of balance and well-being? Why do even old, rich and experienced nations plunge suddenly into chaos and strife? Why the pain and struggle for so many; what prevents a greater sense, and expression, of unity?

The answers to these questions are many and varied, but the single inclusive factor is the time, the moment in this Earth’s history, in which they are being asked.

None other

This time is like none other in the history of the world. The changes taking place are momentous, beyond human comprehension, and will alter life, as we now know it, profoundly and for ever.

On every plane these changes are taking place, some slowly, even in the very fabric of the Earth’s crust; others in a growing momentum which challenges men’s capacity for correct response.

Useless, in this context, are the tired ideas of backward-looking politicians, steeped in the glamours of position and power. Today, it is the people who are ahead of their leaders, and are voicing aloud their understanding and needs. In country after country, the voice of the people is becoming more focused and distinct. Millions are now educated and sure of their needs: peace, work and hope for their future. A growing sense of unity, too, is beginning to inform their expectations and demands. They know they are not alone in the world but have millions of brothers and sisters everywhere, with the same problems and needs.

In this way, even if unaware of His presence and teachings, they are responding to Maitreya’s energy and influence, and building the framework of the future.

We present a selection of quotations on the theme of the Art of Self-Realization from Maitreya (Messages from Maitreya the Christ, andMaitreya’s Teachings – The Laws of Life), Benjamin Creme’s Master (A Master Speaks), and Benjamin Creme’s writings.

“Be what you are. Do not follow one another. If you practise honesty of mind, sincerity of spirit and detachment, you will know your Self, you will know Me, you will know the Lord.” (Maitreya’s Teachings – The Laws of Life)

Maitreya says He has come to teach humanity the art of Self or God-realization. He equates humanity with the Self, and the Self with God. He says: “You are the Self, an immortal Being.” Our pain, He says, our suffering, our problems, are the result of the fact that we identify with everything and anything other than the Self, the immortal Being of which we are a physical-plane reflection. He says: “Ask yourself: ‘Who am I?’” You will find that you identify with the physical body. We look in the mirror and say: “That is me.” In this way we are subject to all the limitations of the physical body. The physical body is mortal; it lives so long and then it dies, and we have to come back into incarnation in a new body. So we cannot be the physical body, it is only a vehicle.
Or we identify with our feelings, our sensations, our energies, our emotions. These are not us: they were not there yesterday, perhaps they will not be there tomorrow. They are unstable, never the same. If we are an immortal Being, they cannot be us. Or we identify with our mind, with the creations of our mind, our memory. We think we are Mr or Mrs So-and-so, with so many children. That is not us, that is our memory, the creation of our mind. We say we are Christian, Hindu, Muslim, or Buddhist. That is not us. That is a belief, an ideology. We are an immortal Being and therefore not subject to the limitations of the physical body, the emotional body, or the mind. We are not a fascist, a democrat, a Christian, or a Buddhist. These are all constructions of the mind. We are, above all these transient beliefs, an immortal Being.
How do we become that immortal Being here and now on the physical plane? Maitreya says His way is the most direct, the way of growing awareness. It involves the practice of three attitudes. One, honesty of mind. Almost no one has honesty of mind. It is not just being honest and not stealing other people’s property. All of us think one thing, say something else, and do something else again. For honesty of mind, what we think, what we say, and what we do must be in a straight line. Two, sincerity of spirit – being who we are, distinct and individual. Not trying to be like somebody else, not imitating other people, but speaking from the heart to the heart. Not speaking to provide others with some false idea of ourselves, manipulating them so that they admire or like us. It is being honest in oneself, sincere. Few people are truly, inwardly sincere. The third attitude to practise is detachment. Detachment is the awareness that we are not the body, the feelings, or the mind – gradually detaching ourselves from that kind of identification. If we are attached to our emotions, for example, and someone plays a dirty trick on us, if our reaction is one of strong indignation and anger, then we are not detached. If we are detached, we will not react with indignation and anger at such a slight.
What we find in practice is that these three attitudes are mutually supportive. The more aware we become, the more honest we become, the more sincere. The more sincere we become, the more honest we manage to be. The more sincere and honest we become, the more detached we become. The more detached we become, the more sincere and the more honest. These three work together, like a yeast.
When Maitreya is teaching openly in the world, has declared Himself and begun His programme of stimulus and guidance in the political and economic field, He will also teach humanity the Art of Self-realization. The more we practise these three attitudes, the greater Self-awareness develops. The more Self-awareness develops, the more Self-realization becomes possible. Self-awareness leads to Self-realization. What is Self-realization? It is not a religion, an ideology, or a belief. It is the goal of life, which, when achieved, makes us a Master. All of the Masters are Self-Realized Beings. (Benjamin Creme, Maitreya’s Mission Volume Three)

“Your destiny is freedom. No one is ‘born in sin’. Rather, the Self is subject to conditioning during the process of evolution. The process of evolution is the Becoming.
“If you follow the three principles of honesty of mind, sincerity of spirit and detachment, evolution proceeds naturally. Your ‘second nature’ is conditioned nature, but practice of the three principles will free you from conditioning. No one is ‘condemned’ to conditioning.
“Please do not presume things. This amounts to ‘a soft landing’ which satisfies the mind. Isms are like small pills that give the mind little breaks in life. Mind, spirit and body feel a bit ‘high’, a bit happy. But the realities of life can never be comprehended via isms. They can only be experienced. Experience and vision go together.” (Maitreya’s Teachings – The Laws of Life)

Most people think one thing, say something else, and do something else again. There is no direct line from their thoughts to their actions. This leads to confusion and destructiveness. This is not honesty of mind. Honesty of mind leads to honest speech and honest action. Peace and happiness can be achieved through this harmony.
Sincerity of spirit means not imitating other people, not pretending, not trying to appear different from what you are. Sincerity of spirit is not taking on somebody else’s ‘garments’, not imitating your favourite film or pop star. It is simply being yourself.
If you are an artist, musician, writer or poet, the most interesting thing you can be is you, not somebody else through you. Imitation in art and music is looked down upon. Imitation in life is somehow not looked down upon, but it is just as important. Art, music or literary expression are part of the life expression. This is certainly as valuable and personal, and has to be as original, as you yourself are. Each person is unique. You have to give expression to that uniqueness. That doesn’t mean you have to do everything contrary to what is normally known and accepted, but it does mean you have to be yourself.
When you see Maitreya you will find He speaks directly from His heart to your heart. Your heart centre will resonate in response to what He has to say. It will seem so pure, so absolutely, essentially, true. You will have no difficulty in accepting what He says because it will penetrate to the very core of your being. That is why it is expected that once He speaks openly to the world it will not be long before the Day of Declaration occurs. (Benjamin Creme, The Great Approach)

“You have been given mind, spirit and body,” says Maitreya, “to express My Being and Becoming in thought, speech and action.” Any action performed with dishonesty of mind, an insincere spirit and attachment is destructive. For example, when you think one thing, say another, and do something which is different again, you are lost. Honesty of mind leads to honest speech and honest action. This harmony leads to peace and happiness. “Whether you are a thief or a saint,” He counsels, “you can begin right now.” But, people have asked, “How do we begin? How do we practise sincerity?” Consider an expression which is often used, such as ‘having a heart-to-heart talk’ with someone, Maitreya responds. What does this mean? It means you will express yourself as you really are, you will communicate from the centre – your centre – the Self. Practise this. It will transform you and those around you. The heart is never tarnished or touched; it is the seat of the soul. It is the mind that leads us astray. Peace, bliss, happiness and grace are the qualities of the heart. “By tuning into the ‘feelings of the heart’,” Maitreya teaches, “you are able to experience your natural innocence, that innocence you had as a child. Do not ‘visualize’ the heart. For that is only the mind seeking to find the source of light with a torch.” (Maitreya, Maitreya’s Mission Volume Two)

To be honest, sincere and detached is to experience oneness with God. But so often this oneness is interpreted by people as loneliness and something to be feared. Yet the feeling of loneliness is the supreme blessing in disguise because it shows that a person is approaching oneness with the Lord. (Maitreya’s Teachings – The Laws of Life)

That Self is an immortal spiritual Being. It reflects itself as a human soul, which in turn reflects itself at this level as the human personality. The path of evolution is the reuniting of the personality with the soul, and the soul/personality together with the Spark of God, the Divine Self. The more detached you become, the more these things can take place. Maitreya says: “When you are detached all becomes possible. Where you are attached you cannot know Me. There I cannot be. But where you are detached there I am always with you.”
These three, honesty of mind, sincerity of spirit, and detachment, if practised seriously and consistently, together with the Prayer for the New Age, can bring a person quickly to an understanding and experience of him or herself in a new way: a new freedom, spontaneity and directness, and a growing absence of fear and conflict will gradually make their presence felt. Detachment is detaching yourself from identifying with yourself as body, mind or spirit. It is not saying to yourself: “I mustn’t feel emotions.” Many people suppress their emotions. To suppress your emotions is just as bad as indulging your emotions. What you have to learn to do is to look at your emotions and not indulge them and not suppress them either. Not repress them but simply look at them, not identify with them; and if you do not identify with them you detach from them. It is like creating a space between you and them. Most people immediately identify with their emotion, whatever it is. They have done so all their lives and so they take it for granted. They feel every negative emotion and they think it is their right to experience them. In fact some people think it is their duty; and I suspect many psychologists tell their patients that it is their duty to ‘emote’. The point is you have to be detached, not by detaching from life but to be very aware, to look very seriously at what is happening but not to identify with it. This is difficult because it needs a degree of detachment to do it – you have to be there before you can get there! But it takes just a little space to create a bigger space. The best way I can think of is to study Krishnamurti. If you put into practice what you read as you are reading, you create that space. Look at what you are feeling, allow yourself to feel it but do not indulge it and do not suppress it or try to get rid of it. If you fight it, it is like the trials of Hercules: every time he cut off the Hydra’s head two grew in its place. That is what comes from repression. What you have to do is to lift it up, as he did, finally, into the light of day (the light of the soul), and the Hydra died of its own accord. Simply look at the feeling and say: “That is not me. It wasn’t there yesterday, it won’t be there tomorrow, it is not me,” and it will go away. Every time you do this you weaken it. You withdraw nourishment. Every time you identify with anything, your energy nourishes it. Whatever you focus on, your energy will flow to it and you will strengthen the emotion. You have to reverse the process and the emotion will die a natural death through lack of nourishment. Detachment is the way to bring about the honesty of mind and the sincerity of spirit which Maitreya teaches. (Benjamin Creme, Maitreya’s Mission Volume Two)

If you follow others instead of being yourself, you lose your sparkle; you cannot reflect the light of individuality. Without that light, there is no progress in life. Similarly, when you experience the Self within and come to know you are an immortal entity, completely separate from mind, spirit and body, you learn to use these temples of the Lord creatively, with awareness. Processes of healing follow automatically.
This is why Maitreya has said that even people with AIDS will be healed through prayer and through the practice of honesty of mind, sincerity of spirit and detachment.

The task ahead is clear: open the windows of the soul and let the soul’s light illumine your lives. Through the awakened intuition allow the soul’s knowledge and purpose to be expressed. Know the meaning of compassion and spread that love abroad. Allow your soul’s wisdom to banish all illusion and become a light for your brothers. That is the task of all who would tread the Path of Light. Awaken the intuition and see clearly the Plan; awaken the intuition and dissolve the darkness; awaken the intuition and cast out all fear. Nothing belongs to you. Everything belongs to the Lord. If you are honest with yourself, you are honest with the Lord. If you are sincere with yourself, you are sincere with the Lord. (Maitreya’s Teachings – The Laws of Life)

“The Self is endless. Awareness is endless. Mind, spirit and body have a beginning and an end. With detachment, the Self experiences phenomena in mind, spirit and body, but it does not get attached to the miraculous powers of which mind, spirit and body are capable.
The laws of creation are in the mind. The universal energy is in the spirit and the forum for the materialization of the creation is the physical body. In effect, when the Self observes God’s powers it is detachment which saves the Self from imprisonment in the bondages of life.
Detachment is the most powerful ‘drug’. It becomes so effective that it immunizes the Self from the processes and proceedings of mind, spirit and body. To learn detachment is an art. A scientist, with detachment, will learn the laws of physics and chemistry (the laws of creation) and will apply them, creating things which constitute God’s work. The artist, with detachment, will be able to describe God through his own experiences.
The destiny of one and all is to be, one day, free of mind, spirit and body. This in itself becomes salvation.” (Maitreya’s Teachings – The Laws of Life)

Stage by stage, century following century, man will build a civilization which will demonstrate his growing manifestation of divinity; a culture in which the beauty of the divine creation will be expressed in all its aspects, a mirror in which the Divine Idea will be reflected in all its glory.
Thus will man take his true place in the scheme of things under the Divine Plan. Thus, under the inspiration of the Christ, will he transform this world – separated by fear, dogma and hate – into that in which the Law of Love governs, in which all men are brothers, in which all that pertains to the divine nature engages man’s attention and controls his life. The Prayer for the New Age
I am the creator of the universe.
I am the father and mother of the universe.
Everything comes from me.
Everything shall return to me.
Mind, spirit and body are my temples,
For the Self to realize in them
My supreme Being and Becoming.
Benjamin Creme writes: The Prayer for the New Age, given by Maitreya, the World Teacher, is a great mantram or affirmation with an invocative effect. It will be a powerful tool in the recognition by us that man and God are One, that there is no separation. The ‘I’ is the Divine Principle behind all creation. The Self emanates from, and is identical to, the Divine Principle.
The most effective way to use this mantram is to say or think the words with focused will, while holding the attention at the ajna centre between the eyebrows. When the mind grasps the meaning of the concepts, and simultaneously the will is brought to bear, those concepts will be activated and the mantram will work. If it is said seriously every day, there will grow inside you a realization of your true Self. (Maitreya’s Teachings – The Laws of Life

Crosses of Lights

Crosses of light Before 1988, no one had heard of them. Today, they dazzle people on every continent: crosses of light suddenly appearing in windows. Even science has taken an interest. In a tiny church in Knoxville, Tennessee, they seemed to be 30 or 40 feet high. Weeks before the first one appeared, Benjamin Creme announced that Maitreya was going to amaze the world through a highly unusual light phenomenon.

1. First cross of lightThe first cross of light appeared in 1988. "Last weekend," the Pasadena Star News wrote on 27 May, "residents reported seeing a cross shining through a bathroom window of an apartment in El Monte." Eye-witness Mona LaVine stated she saw: "A cross of a pale golden light -- and simply beautiful." Margaret Romero, owner of the place, had the glass replaced by a neighbor’s window, but the cross kept shining. Within days, 12 more crosses appeared around the Los Angeles area. 2. White and gold light Two years later, four foot-tall crosses of white and gold light appeared suddenly in the bathroom window of a 61-year-old pipefitter living in a suburb of New Orleans. 3. No hocus-pocusIn 1991, the crosses reached the Philippines. Reporters of Newsday Philippines got hold of a piece of glass with such a cross of light. News editor Julian V. Cruz wrote: "It was mid-afternoon. With a score of neon lights on and sunlight streaming through two windows, there could be no occasion for hocus-pocus. The piece of glass was set up on its box like a picture frame. It looked exactly like any other piece of frosted glass, almost opaque, one could not see through. A flashlight was pointed at it and switched on and there appeared this even-armed cross of light seemingly within a diamond-shaped aura. Somebody placed another switched-on flashlight beside the first and two crosses appeared. The flashlights were switched off. The crosses disappeared. They were switched on again, the crosses reappeared. The usually boisterous newsroom was silent. The phenomenon was awe-inspiring, or, at the very least, intriguing." 4. HandOn Easter Sunday 1991, a picture was taken of the Philippine piece of glass containing a cross of light. When the negative was developed, the image of a hand showed up in the glass. 5. "It’s another life for me"Video producer Frances Robinson made a documentary on the phenomenon. Her account: "Most of the people we have interviewed are very devout, and most of them are quite poor. Typical was the family of Magdalena and Paulo Robledo, who have five children and live in a tiny two-bedroom home. There are regular weekly prayer meetings now in the Robledo's little house at which the participants pray for Christ to appear to them. Those who attend say they feel the spirit strongly in the room." "Laura, a teenager who had tried to commit suicide and had been a real problem to her family, came to see the Robledo's cross. "I feel like another person," she said later. "It’s another life for me. I’ve changed... I used to be a real meany to everyone... Now I want to help everyone. I believe in myself and I have hope." 6. Three togetherSimultaneously, three crosses appeared in the bathroom window of Alejandrina Carmona in Montecito Heights, California. Carmona said she could sometimes also see the Virgin Mary and Jesus. 7. Radiant panorama At the home of Leo and Loretta Alphonso in Violet, Louisiana, a radiant panorama of crosses appeared, elaborate foot-tall figures tapered at the ends and appearing to set off in the distance. Three of them were glowing in white and one in gold. Some saw a red cross floating past the others. 8. New ZealandAs a result of Benjamin Creme’s visit to Auckland, New Zealand, in February 1994, crosses of light appeared in three windows of the house in which he stayed. 9. "Sign of the Second Coming" "Hundreds of people have visited the home of Carlos and Ines Alvarez in Bakersfield, California, since the couple discovered a large cross of light in their bathroom window on 7 March," theBakersfield Californian wrote in 1996. "A lot of people think it’s a message God is trying to send us because we’re in the last days," said Mrs Alvarez. According to the article, the family said a priest told them the cross was a sign of the Second Coming. 10. Forty feet high"I can’t get the hair on the back of my neck to do anything but stick straight out these days. The crosses are indeed in the windows at the Copper Ridge Baptist Church. That is a fact. It doesn’t matter if you believe it or not...," wrote columnist Bob Hurley of The Greenville (Tennessee) Sun, reporting on the gigantic crosses of light which had appeared in Knoxville, Tennessee in and outside the tiny church of Reverend Joe Bullard. It all started one evening in early November 1995, when Joe and his wife Mildred noticed a radiant white light seeming to surround the entire building. A couple of days later, on 8 November, Joe Bullard was addressing his congregation. While he stood talking, a bright white light appeared on one side of the church. On further inspection the light was found to be in the shape of a large cross. Bullard's reaction, and that of the thousands of people who later came to see the crosses, was "unbelievable!" Reaching a height of some 40 feet, the crosses could be seen in all the church windows. Children and adults alike were glowing with joy at the phenomena they experienced there. Scores of people told Reverend Bullard they were being healed emotionally, spiritually and, sometimes, physically when they saw the crosses. A deliriously happy Joan Anderson told the Kokomo Perspective newspaper in October 1996 that she had an inoperable brain tumor, went to Knoxville more or less by chance, knew nothing of the supposed healings, and realized the following day that her headache had gone -- and, the doctors soon discovered, so had the tumor. [Note: The church has now changed its name and minister. Sadly, the crosses of light are no longer available for public viewing.] 11. Who is Maitreya?

He has been expected for generations by all of the major religions. Christians know him as the Christ, and expect his imminent return. Jews await him as the Messiah; Hindus look for the coming of Krishna; Buddhists expect him as Maitreya Buddha; and Muslims anticipate the Imam Mahdi or Messiah.

Although the names are different, many believe that they all refer to the same individual: the World Teacher, whose personal name is Maitreya (pronounced my-tray-ah).Preferring to be known simply as the Teacher, Maitreya has not come as a religious leader, or to found a new religion, but as a teacher and guide for people of every religion and those of no religion. At this time of great political, economic and social crisis Maitreya will inspire humanity to see itself as one family, and create a civilization based on sharing, economic and social justice, and global cooperation. He will launch a call to action to save the millions of people who starve to death every year in a world of plenty. Among Maitreya's recommendations will be a shift in social priorities so that adequate food, housing, clothing, education, and medical care become universal rights. Under Maitreya's inspiration, humanity itself will make the required changes and create a saner and more just world for all.

The reality and work of the Space Brothers

Interview with British author and editor of Share International magazine Benjamin Creme by Janez Ferjancic.

Janez Ferjancic: Before you were engaged in the Reappearance work you were connected with UFOs in the 1950s. You knew George Adamski personally. Could you explain how it all started, and what were your experiences with UFOs?

Benjamin Creme: I first read about UFOs in Flying Saucers have Landed, a book in which George Adamski wrote, in the last chapter, his experience of meeting a Venusian in the Arizona desert. The book itself was not by Adamski but by an Englishman, Desmond Leslie. It was the history of flying saucers over many ages, in different parts of the world. It was research — historical, speculative to some degree, and it finished with Adamski’s actual experience.

Next I read Inside the Spaceships by Adamski, in which he was taken up in a spaceship, a saucer, onto what is called a mothership. This mothership was Venusian, and he had long conversations with the Venusian Master who, I think, was the Master of the ship, the chief person on board. In any case He was a Venusian Master.
These were very interesting conversations, and so for me the UFO phenomenon was more to do with the purpose, the meaning behind the flying saucers as they were called, than the phenomenon itself. The fact that people from other planets — some people think other solar systems but my information is that they come from other planets of our system — were concerned enough to visit this planet was interesting, but the nature of their concern was much more interesting. Their concern was that we should not destroy ourselves. That we should change our way of life, our way of organizing our world, not to destroy the world from an ecological point of view, and not to destroy each other in a war using nuclear weapons. It was a philosophical, spiritual discourse which he had with the Venusian Master, and that is what really impressed me about the book.
When I first heard about UFOs it was in 1947 or 1948, perhaps 1945, when a few reports appeared in our newspapers that a passenger plane had come close to what we call UFOs. The pilot would report it, the people in the plane would see it happening. They would see these round, disk-shaped objects, sometimes quite close to the aircraft, flying alongside, either one or many. It happened quite frequently but not every day — or rather you did not hear about it every day. These reports were spaced out over a period of time.

The first time I heard or read anything about them, before I read the Adamski book, I believed they were probably either American or Russian special planes that they were experimenting with, which were built on an entirely different system, not like normal airplanes; they were round, saucer shaped, and so we called them flying saucers. I thought at first that they were secret planes, experimental flying objects of Russia or America, or both, until I read the Adamski book, and then it became clear that there was something else going on, that they were perhaps from elsewhere.
Then, in the beginning of January 1959, I was contacted by one of the Masters of our Spiritual Hierarchy and my work began — I have talked and written about it elsewhere. The work was with the Space Brothers, the people using the UFOs, and my Master acted as the liaison between us, so to speak. To me, the two became identified; the fact of having read Adamski left me very open to the possibility, although I had not thought very much about it. But I was immediately introduced to the flying phenomena and I was part of a group, of which Adamski was one, which met only out of the body. To the outer world, we worked secretly, but to ourselves there was no secret — we recognized each other and we were part of a committee and did certain work which was assigned to us which was all to do with the UFO phenomenon.
In my experience, what we call UFOs, the flying saucers, come from the planets of our own system. Not from the Pleiades, or Sirius or somewhere outside our solar system, but from, mainly, Mars and Venus. A few other planets like Jupiter and Mercury are involved, but the vast majority of sightings of the UFOs come from Mars and Venus. Practically all of them are made on Mars, even the Venusian ones. They are Venusian in design, and they are quite distinct, different in design and technology, but they are actually constructed on Mars. And they are all constructed by thought.
The people in physical bodies on Mars and Venus, Mercury, Jupiter and so on are not at the same level or vibration of physicality that we experience. We know only three aspects of the physical: solid physical, liquid physical and gaseous physical. Above gas there are still four further levels of physical matter which so far have not been discovered on this planet. When they are discovered we will understand a great deal more about the nature and origin of disease, the purpose of life on this planet and of the reality of life on other planets.
The beings on Mars and Venus and the other planets are on the four higher levels of the physical. If you went to Mars or Venus you would see no one, but nevertheless they are in physical matter, and have bodies made of that subtle, finer physical matter to which we give the term ‘etheric’. We ourselves have bodies of dense physical, liquid physical, gaseous physical and the four etheric physical planes — but we have not yet discovered the latter.
They have been demonstrated to exist by the great scientist and psychologist Wilhelm Reich, who was a colleague and one-time assistant of Freud. He died in an American prison in 1957. He was arrested for purporting to treat diseases with instruments which he claimed (correctly) attracted matter from the etheric planes, which he called orgone energy. He saw it as one vast plane of orgone energy, which he saw, rightly, as being everywhere in the universe, substanding the outer solid physical plane. Esotericists understand the etheric plane as four planes, becoming finer and finer as they go higher. The fourth etheric is just above gas, and is invisible unless you have etheric vision. The reality of this etheric energy, of what he called “orgone energy”, was demonstrated palpably by Wilhelm Reich in various simple experiments. Nevertheless, he was arrested because he used instruments which he called the “orgone accumulator”, boxes which accumulated the etheric energy of some levels, usually the two lower levels, the fourth and the third etheric, to treat diseases including cancer and various other diseases. In America that was deemed illegal. The Food and Drug Administration arrested him, refused to allow him to prove his work, and he died in prison.
Unless one understands the reality of the etheric levels of energy as finer, subtler, levels of matter, one cannot begin to understand the UFO phenomenon, and one cannot understand the creation of crop circles — because they are all related. The crop circles are created by people, mainly from Mars and Venus, with a few exceptions from other planets. The vast majority of them are Martian, some Venusian, and they are all over the world. Crop circles are mainly in the south of England, but they have been seen in America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Peru — all over the world to a greater or lesser degree. Our planet, like all planets, has a magnetic field; its magnetic energy travels in lines and criss-crosses, and where these lines cross is formed, eventually, a vortex, a force centre. The space people, in making the crop circles, are replicating on the dense-physical plane these magnetic vortices in our planetary magnetic field. So there is the planetary magnetic field on its own level, and then a physical plane counterpart of that, which is being replicated by the space people who are manning the UFOs, and creating the crop circles.

JF: Why are they doing this?

BC: They do this in order to make the foundation on the physical plane for a new type of energy, a new type of technology using that energy, which eventually will be developed on this planet. It is a gift for this coming time, the New Age which we are entering, which we call the Age of Aquarius, a time in which tremendous new discoveries in the use of the energy of the planet and of the sun will be found and adapted. This will entirely change our way of life on this planet, and will lead to a control of universal energy such as we cannot begin to imagine.

In the next 2,500 years we will reach a stage where we can travel around our solar system at will, and out into the galaxy, exploring first our own solar system and then the vast galactic area, using energy which does not work within the time/space reality. So that distance is annihilated, time is annihilated. People think that if you are going to send something into the galaxy, it will take hundreds of years, the people would die before they could reach anywhere that was worth going to, and they would never return. It is not true. People come from Mars and Venus, which are not so far away, but they are still a long way away by our reckoning of distance, but they come here in minutes. It does not take time, once you understand that time does not exist and that the space which you thought you have to cover to get from one place to another does not exist either, and in minutes you can travel vast distances in space.

JF: Why did they choose crops for showing these patterns?

BC: Crop circles are used because they are seasonal. You only have crops for a short time in the summer and autumn, and then they are cut down, and you do not see the crop circles. Then they will grow up again next year, and the crop circles appear in the same places, because they are recreated each time in the exact same point, so that the energy is put in that field, or whatever. If put where all the energy is put, crop circles would be, literally, all over the world, including in the sea, on mountains and in rocks where nothing is growing. They are allowed to be seen, made real as a crop circle, as designs in corn, because it is seasonal; then it is cut down. This is a tangential way, without infringing our free will, of telling the people of Earth that the Space Brothers, as I call them, the people from other planets like Mars and Venus, are here, are part of a system, and they work in a systemic way, not just as separate planets. They are helping this planet to develop the technology of the future, and also to make known, without being too strong about it, that they are here, that they are aware of us, that they are helping us, that they have a very spiritual intention in coming here, and that they are 100 per cent friendly and harmless.

JF: It is very difficult to believe in the true nature of the crop circles, because there are so many hoaxes. Could you tell me what percentage of crop circles are genuine and how many are hoaxes? And why are people doing this?

BC: There are, of course, some hoaxes. These hoaxes are a tiny minority, perhaps 4 per cent, of the real and authentic crop circles which appear all over the world. The ratio of hoaxes to authentic ones varies from country to country. In this country (UK) — because we have had so many crop circles and for so long — they are probably a bigger percentage than elsewhere. If you have more crop circles, you have more hoaxes. And in other parts of the world perhaps there is not such a conscious involvement of people with the crop circles, so they do not take the trouble to make them. To make a crop circle is hard work, and they are usually very obvious and very clumsy and badly made. How anyone can mistake a hoax for a real crop circle — if they visit the actual crop circles — astonishes me, because they are so perfectly made when they are authentic. They are made in seconds by the people using the space vehicle. First of all they think of a design, decide what the design will be. It may be very simple, and if you follow the sequence of crop circles, you see that they become more and more elaborate, more complex, as the years go on. First, for variety, and secondly, to show a complexity and a degree of ingenuity and design which would be beyond the range of any hoaxer. The hoaxes are usually very elementary, rather badly made. Why are they made? I would say, for two reasons. One reason is that they are made by people who are paid to make hoaxes. Newspapers, for example, do from time to time put up money and employ, say, a group of university students who have worked out a way in which you can make a crop circle of a kind, a rather simplistic kind, but that would convince a journalist. Journalists know no more about crop circles than anybody else, than the average man in the street, and yet they come along with their cameras and look at it, and they say: “Yes, it is a crop circle, a real authentic crop circle, how wonderful!”, and then Jeff and Peter, or Willy and Robert, come up and say: “No, we made it, yesterday, we made it! The Daily Mail or The Sun paid us £2,000 to make this crop circle, we can prove it. This is a complete hoax, they are all hoaxes.” It is a way of diminishing the value and the reality of the crop circles.

Also, I know for certain, that the Ministry of Defence in this country pays money to the farmers to cut down the crop circles if they appear in their corn. Some of them, of course, go ahead and as soon as a circle appears they cut it down. Even if the corn is not ripe and they would not normally cut down that area of corn for perhaps a few weeks or a month. And so you get fields with a great hole in the middle of the corn, which is where there has been a crop circle deliberately destroyed by the farmer — paid by the Ministry of Defence.

JF: A crop circle appeared one week ago in Winchester which is quite elaborate — a three-dimensional picture of a Hollywood-style head of an alien. You said that it was man-made which astonishes me, because you can’t really recognize it from the ground. How can an ordinary person actually distinguish what is genuine and what not?

BC: It is difficult for people who have not studied the subject, who are not to some degree well acquainted with the subject, to tell the difference between a true, authentic crop circle, made by a spaceship from Mars or Venus, and one that is just a fake. But if you have been looking at them over a period of time, and realized the differences, you can see instantly that this is a fake and this is authentic, they are very clear cut. I saw the Winchester photograph: there is a circle in which the spaces are divided into squares in both ways, it makes a kind of a cake, but decorated in squares, and near it a head, a kind of alien, imaginary alien’s head. A head which is used every time a comic artist wants to design a spaceman, he gives him that kind of a head — rather like the head of E.T. That to me is a complete fake. It has nothing to do with the crop circle beside it, which is authentic.

This is done for one or other of those reasons, simply, that people like to play pranks, they like to destroy evidence, they like to be cleverer than those who are making the crop circles — until the public and the media cannot make head or tail of the whole thing. It destroys the validity of the whole crop circle phenomenon.
If you cannot tell the difference between a fake one and an authentic one, then the authentic ones lose validity. Not ultimately, but for the present time. Until it is proved that crop circles are, indeed, made by UFOs from Mars and Venus. The number of fakes is really very small, because they are difficult to do, they take time and energy, and people who are going to spend that time and energy to do it either have an overdeveloped sense of humour — they see it as a great joke — or else, they are being paid to do it. Both things happen.

JF: Just to get it clear about that Winchester crop circle: the disk is genuine?

BC: For the one I saw in the newspaper, the actual circle is a genuine one, and the head of an ‘E.T.’ is not authentic, but is a man-made one to nullify the validity of the other.

JF: The crop circle phenomenon started to appear in the late 1970s, but even before, in the 15th or 16th centuries, people knew about them. Why are they appearing in such numbers now, and why mainly, as it seems, in the UK?

BC: The number of crop circles is increasing all over the world. They have always been there, but only in small numbers. They are increasing because the plan of the Space Brothers — in relation to the Spiritual Hierarchy of our planet — is to speed up the creation of this magnetic field of energy on the physical plane on the Earth to do with the coming technology. Why now? Because the whole process is speeding up. Because our own Spiritual Hierarchy, the Masters and high initiates of the Spiritual Hierarchy of this planet, are returning to the everyday world.

They have not been out of the world, but They have been hidden away in the mountains and deserts of the world for thousands and thousands of years. They have been working behind the scenes but now They are externalizing Their work and are beginning to appear. Already, to my knowledge, there are 14 Masters living openly as men in the world, and the Master of all the Masters, the World Teacher, the Lord Maitreya, as He is named in the Spiritual Hierarchy, the One Christians call the Christ. The reason so many crop circles appear in southern England is because Maitreya lives in London, His ‘point of focus’ in the modern world. They are meant, subtly, to allude to that fact.

JF: Will this process keep increasing? Are we going to make closer contacts with UFOs?

BC: The Hierarchies of all the planets are in communication. This is something which people should understand. They themselves do not have that communication but Hierarchy does. The Hierarchy is made up of Masters of different levels and of disciples of even more varied levels. And from all these disciples, all these different grades of initiates, some of them may be part of groups who have been working with the Space Brothers. The Space Brothers have on this planet various people, like Adamski and others, who are used to bring the reality of the Space Brothers to the world, but also for other reasons, which I cannot go into; there are various aspects of this work which must be kept secret, for the time being at least. They have a great work in salvaging, in helping to restore the equilibrium of our planet, in particular to nullify to some extent — within the karmic law — the pollution of our planet. But for their work in purifying our atmosphere, mopping up with implosion devices the nuclear radiation which we pour into the atmosphere from our nuclear reactors and experimentation, this world would be infinitely more painful to live in.

JF: You mentioned that there are different individuals who work together with UFOs on different projects. There is an interesting project in America, conducted by Dr Steven Greer called the ‘Disclosure Project’. Could you comment on this?

BC: Dr Greer is doing a useful thing. He is not working — so far as I know — with the Space Brothers but he is impatient with the fact that there is masses of evidence to prove that UFOs exist. Not proof of where they come from, or their purpose, but that they are real, do, in fact, exist. They have been seen by hundreds of thousands of people for years, and yet the governments of the world, most of whom have adequate data on their existence, refuse to make that known.

There is a huge cover-up, from the highest levels, in America, Russia, Britain, the European and various other countries who have been collecting data, evidence from their pilots, policemen, soldiers, from the public for years and years. This amounts to a huge body of evidence which is never published, is never made known, is covered up. People disappear even, in certain parts of the world, and nothing more is heard of them. There is sometimes coverage by media to discredit the evidence, and so on. In this way the governments control what the public knows, or rather does not know, about the Space Brothers and the UFO phenomenon. In this way they can keep it down.
Dr Greer is impatient with this, he has himself experience of UFOs and wanted to make it known. He has set up a means for other people — ex-army, ex-RAF or ex-United States Air force personnel — to come forward and give their evidence. When people of their standing and experience give evidence in this public way, they hope it will lead to a general, better understanding and maybe eventually an open statement by the governments of the world.
Of course, when governments make such a statement about their knowledge, they are also at the same time committing political suicide. They think that if we know the technology that the Space Brothers have, which is so much more advanced than our own, then the ideas, the wisdom of these people (if it is possible to have at our service), is much more to be valued than that of our own governments. These governments do nothing but make war on each other, in competition destroy the economies of each other, and make life miserable for hundreds of millions of people throughout the world. Inevitably, we will say we want the Space Brothers to come and teach us their ways, we do not need you, Mr so-and-so and Mr so-and-so. They can see that as a loss of their power, and so they keep the whole thing dark.

JF: Do you think Dr Greer will succeed with his initiative? Will governments come forward?

BC: The governments will only act when they are forced to do it. When Maitreya is known openly. Maitreya is the World Teacher, the head of our own planetary Hierarchy, Who are beginning to return to the everyday world. When They are known, when Maitreya is known, He will be asked questions like I am being asked now, and the truth of the relationship between this planet and the other planets will become known. Then the people from other planets will land and the reality of their existence will be known.

We have to understand that these ships and the people in these ships are in etheric matter, which is matter, but subtler than our physical matter. We, also, have the subtle matter in our etheric framework — of which the physical is only a precipitation, downwards — but we do not see it, and so for us it is non-existent. The Space Brothers can lower the vibrational rate of that etheric matter until it comes within our range of vision, so that we see the spaceships. But that is a temporary manifestation. When the Space Brothers live — and some do — on this Earth, they have to make, or take, Earth bodies to do so.
In the first place, the knowledge, the acceptance of the reality of the Space Brothers, will come through the acceptance of Maitreya and the Masters of our Spiritual Hierarchy. They will confirm that the Space Brothers are real, that the spaceships are real, that the other planets have their citizens who have nothing but goodwill, who are harmless, who want to help each other and do help each other, and who help this planet in so far as the law of karma allows. When we accept them and see what they are doing and how they are helping us, then the development of this planet will go forward tremendously fast.

JF: There are so called abductions and cattle mutilations. Should one take them seriously? What is this in relation to UFOs?

BC: The question of abductions and cattle mutilations is part of the general cover-up. They are a way of invalidating the harmlessness of the Space Brothers and making people afraid of the Space Brothers. The Space Brothers know nothing of harm and mean no harm for this planet. If they had, they could have destroyed this planet long ago. No one is ever abducted in a spaceship. These cattle mutilations are deliberately made as cover-ups — to put the blame on the Space Brothers and therefore to make people afraid of them. The whole thing is a plot against this enormously important and enormously serious interchange between the planets, to keep power for a limited number of people on this planet. It will be, as I say, only for a limited time until the Hierarchy of Masters is known and accepted, until Maitreya is known and accepted, and then the reality of the UFOs will come out.

Those who say they are abducted have experiences of an astral-emotional nature in which they imagine that they are in spaceships. Nobody is ever taken up in a spaceship in a physical body. It is impossible. These spaceships are not solid physical. To be taken up into a spaceship you have to be taken out of the dense physical body and you go in the etheric into the spaceship, which are in themselves etheric. It is still physical, but etheric physical.
Now, people say they are taken up and experimented on, things are put into their skin and so on. The Space Brothers know all about us, they do not need to do this. To me it is a nonsense, because they are so advanced in every way that they do not need to make any kind of experiment. They know the answers already. It is a complete nonsense that they should carry out genetic or sexual experimentation on people from this planet when they have a technology which is several thousand years ahead of anything that we could think of today. It is stupid, it is a blind, a deliberate way of attacking the concept of wise and superior, spiritually-oriented people. In this way, the people in control in, or even behind, the governments of the world, retain their control.

JF: Could you say a few words on the energy in crop circles? Is it good to stay in a crop circle for healing, for example?

BC: The crop circles are made by energy. The people in the spaceship form a design in their mind, simple or complex, and then, with a combination of technology and thought, that design is created in the crop.

They always use a universal system based on ‘9’, rather than ‘10’, which we will adopt in the future. When we understand the nature of the mathematical ratios in the true sense, we will begin to understand the crop circle better. Many people think crop circles are ideograms — which they are not. They are not giving us ideas, encapsulating ideas. They are designs, carried out to a certain formula, and the formula is universal. That is what they are reiterating over and over again in these designs.
In every case there is an energy which is embedded in the ground, in the water, etc, wherever the crop circle is made. You must understand that the crop circles are only external visible points where these vortices occur, but these occur all over the world, even where there are no crops. So there are thousands and thousands of these energy spots, vortices, created by the Space Brothers. When they make a circle in a crop you see it; when they make it in the ocean you do not see it, but it is there, too.
In this way they are forming a magnetic grid which will be a source of energy on the physical plane, like storage tanks of energy. So it will draw energy from our own magnetic plane, but using it on the physical plane in the technology which is coming. In using energy from the sun in relation to this magnetic energy we will do wonders in healing, in transport and many other ways; all our energy needs will be met.
If you go to a crop circle and you are sensitive to the energy, you will find, if you are in one made by a Venusian spaceship, that it will be quite distinct from that in a crop circle made by a Martian spaceship. If it is made by a Mercury or Jupiterian spaceship it will be different again.
These energies are different and they can have a healing quality. People spending a little time in a crop circle feel the energy, which is often of a healing nature and does heal. I would not recommend spending a lot of time in a crop circle, because one can be overcharged by the energy. Especially Venusian energy, which is very high in vibration. So I recommend care in spending time in crop circles. Spend maybe five or 10 minutes in it, but not sitting for a couple of hours talking with people, and so on. People do this, and then wonder why they are so overcharged.

JF: On 20 June 2000, there was the first crop circle in Slovenia. The media reported it, and your Master confirmed it was genuine. Could you say whether it was made by a Martian or Venusian spaceship?

BC: It was Martian.

JF: Were there any more in Slovenia, which we didn’t recognize?

BC: One more in August in the same year.

JF: Tomorrow I have an interview with a Second World War veteran, who was in the Royal Air Force. He had many UFO sightings during the war. He was in the RAF. There was this phenomenon of so called “balls of light”, foo-fighters, accompanying the aircrafts which were going to bombard Germany. Pilots thought those lights were secret weapons of the Germans. But German pilots saw the very same lights when they came to England, and thought it was the secret weapon of the English. Could you explain what these lights were?

BC: All the space vehicles have listening devices, which may be two or two-and-a-half feet in diameter, and they can be directed from the spaceship itself, which might be — if it is the usual scout ship — 30 feet in diameter. These are sent down and connected energetically with the mothership, and they have instruments which can read the reports which are fed into very advanced computers. Our computers are ancient, backward things compared with the technology they have; these pick up data on everything: the quality of the air, the thoughts and ideas of individuals, if necessary. They may hover outside a room here and listen to this conversation, for example. Following an aircraft, they cannot be shot down — they have a forcefield round them. The spaceships, too, cannot be shot down, they also have a forcefield round them. They have often been fired at by fighter planes sent up to intercept them but there is no way the rounds can penetrate the forcefield of the ship, so it is a waste of time and energy. That is just Earth stupidity. We are a very stupid planet. We are a backward, dark planet whose people know nothing, believe nothing and understand nothing. But that is all going to change because the Hierarchy of Masters are coming back into the world. Some are already here, including the Master of all the Masters, Maitreya Himself, Who will be the first to become known. His mission begins in the very near future. This will throw a completely new light on the reality of life.

These foo-fighters do a job — I cannot tell you what the job is in every single case, it will vary from time to time. The spaceships have implosion devices which have usually a red light, and which are used to nullify or neutralize nuclear radiation on the Earth. They use different devices for different purposes, but very common are the small disks for carrying information. I have seen them. I have ducked as they come so close! They do not mean any harm, it is just a kind of “hello”.

JF: Many people see these balls of light, also where crop circles have appeared. There is a famous UK video from 1996 by John Wheatleigh. Your Master confirmed that the video was genuine, but later it was discovered that there were some strange things with this video; the light, when the video was shot, was strange as the sun was on the other side. Also the man who shot the video disappeared. Could you say a few words about the video?

BC: I do not know about that. I have not heard the evidence against the video, so I cannot really comment on this. All I can say is that the video is real. These lights which were seen were deliberately shown. The crop circle was made by the spaceship in seconds. Then these lights were put out to show that they were there, to draw attention to the fact that they had made the crop circle, to connect it with the UFO and so make it real, that it was not a mystery. Because if you just have a crop circle, or you are waiting for the appearance of a craft to make a crop circle and you do not see the craft, then there is a crop circle but you have no feedback on it. When you have lights, you do not know whether the lights or the UFO made the circle, but there is a connection between them, because no one has ever explained the lights which hovered over the ground.

I do not know whether the criticism is valid; it may be from a technical point of view, but it cannot be from the actual, factual point of view, because it happened, the crop circle appeared.

JF: In conclusion, do you think that without Maitreya we won’t see UFOs becoming public knowledge?

BC: Well, it is not the way I would put that. I would not say that without Maitreya we would not see it, but that with Maitreya we will see it. The fact that Maitreya is here — I know with absolute certainty that Maitreya is here, living here in London where I am talking now — will guarantee that the fact of our Space Brothers becomes known. He will begin His open mission very soon indeed. The world will gradually come to understand Who He is and what His mission is, and when they accept Him, then, of course, they will accept what He says about the Space Brothers and the UFOs. Then there will be an open interchange between them and us.

"THE SPACE BROTHERS"

“If one thing is clear from the teachings of Adamski coming from the Venusian Master, from my Master, and, you will find, from Maitreya, it is that the Space Brothers are absolutely harmless to the people of Earth. In fact, their presence here is a spiritual mission. They come to save humanity from even greater pain and suffering than we would otherwise have known in the years since the discovery of nuclear fission.
Since that time we have poured nuclear energy into our atmosphere, which our scientists cannot even measure. They do not have the technology to measure levels of matter above gas, the etheric levels, where this release of nuclear energy occurs – the deadliest release of energy that has ever taken place on Earth.
This nuclear energy is in tremendous potency and is destroying the well-being of humanity and the lower kingdoms. It works by depleting our body’s immune system, and therefore opens us to all manner of ills that otherwise would not affect us. As a result, we have wave upon wave of influenzas and other diseases that we have less and less ability to cope with. The growing incidence of Alzheimer’s disease at ever younger ages throughout the world is a direct result of the high concentration of nuclear energy at the higher etheric levels, not registered by the instruments of our present-day scientists. This energy plays on the human brain, causing more and more Alzheimer’s, memory loss, disorientation, and the gradual breakdown of our body’s defence system.
The Space Brothers, mainly from Mars and Venus, are engaged on a spiritual mission to neutralize this nuclear radiation. They are not allowed to completely neutralize all the extant nuclear radiation, but within the karmic law they do, using various implosive devices. They neutralize the radiation that we are pumping into the atmosphere from every nuclear power station without exception, and from all nuclear experimentation. We are continually making more and craftier bombs that will be more deadly than previous bombs. All of that experimentation releases into our atmosphere clouds of nuclear radiation that we do not know about. We cannot measure it and therefore we deny its existence.
Our nuclear scientists believe they have total control of nuclear energy, which, demonstrably, they do not. They have no understanding of the four etheric levels of matter above the solid, liquid and gaseous levels and therefore a limited knowledge of that they know as nuclear energy. It is actually etheric, physical matter which we should not be using. Nuclear energy is, as it says in the Bible, “that which stands where it ought not”. Nuclear fission should not be utilized. It is deadly and is increasingly damaging the health of the people of this planet. The people of other planets spend countless hours mopping up this energy.”

Questions and Answers about nuclear energy – “The invisible peril”

Q. (1) What’s the best way to convince medical science that, whether or not nuclear plants have accidents, suffer disasters, leaks, and so on, the very fact that they exist at all is dangerous and highly toxic? (2) Would further developments in Kirlian photography technology provide effective proof? (3) If not, which scientific approach would lead most rapidly to finding proof of how polluting nuclear energy is?

A. (1) If it were possible I would have done so long ago. I have been speaking about the dangers of nuclear radiation for 30 years or more. These ‘scientists’ will listen only to their own kind, who unfortunately share the same set of blinkers. (2) No. (3) The experience of disasters like the ones at Fukushima, Chernobyl, etc.

Q. Hierarchical advice is that all nuclear plants should be closed as soon as possible. (1) Scientists say that nuclear energy is cleaner than carbon-based energy;(2) There are no really efficient alternatives. (3) So much money is invested in the nuclear industry it is virtually impossible to extricate our economies from it.
Could you please comment on the issues raised above?

A. (1) In terms of carbon yes, but not in terms of destructiveness. (2) The alternative is the fusion process of nuclear energy. It does not depend on fission. It is clean, cold, does not provide waste and according to the Master Djwhal Khul (who gave the Alice A.Bailey teachings) requires only a simple isotope of water, available worldwide, in order to satisfy our need for power. There are various formulae for the fusion process, some of which have already been bought up by branches of the oil industry to protect their domain. (3) This is true of the more sophisticated industrial nations but not for the whole world. We do not need power stations based on nuclear fission. They are out of date and extremely dangerous.

Q. Could your Master please say how the world’s energy needs can be met in the short to medium term, supposing that the world follows Hierarchy’s advice to stop using nuclear energy.

A. The cold fusion process (see above question).

Q. In the book The Reappearance of the Christ and the Masters of Wisdom, you have predicted that cold fusion using deuterium, the isotope of hydrogen, will be used soon, implying that it is safe owing to almost no by-products concerning radioactivity; and deuterium is superabundant in the waters of the oceans and rivers of the world.
Presently, there are many scientists in the world working in the field of cold fusion/condensed matter nuclear science, confirming that cold fusion is actually taking place. On the other hand, it seems to be very difficult to obtain quantitative (not qualitative) reproducibility in the obtained experimental results. It is indispensable to establish the accurate reproducibility of obtained results of cold fusion experiments before being applied to industrial applications. To solve this difficulty we would like to have the comment of you (or your Master).

A. When the necessary amount of energy, time and money is made available this will come about. This will be soon.

Q. Is the complete cessation of all activities involving nuclear energy produced by fission likely to take place within the next 25 years?

A. Yes.

Q. A certain amount of nuclear energy is needed for medical applications – does the world also need to phase that out? What would replace it in the short term?

A. This will be superseded by the coming advanced form of genetic engineering.

Q. Since Fukushima a so-called “nuclear stress test” has been developed. (1) Do you think it is rigorous enough? (2) Is the stress test an honest, un-manipulated attempt to prove safety and highlight dangers?

A. (1) No. (2) It may be an honest attempt but it is certainly not an effective one. The whole point is that the technology of nuclear science today is inadequate to measure the whole range of the energy of matter.

Q. Is a significant drop in the current standard of living and comfort an inevitable outcome of getting rid of atomic energy?

A. No, by no means.

Q. Where are the most dangerous nuclear plants at present around the globe?

A. All plants which are more than 20 years old are particularly suspect whether they have had an accident or not.

Q. Is genetic disruption and mutation an unavoidable consequence of exposure to nuclear pollution?

A. Yes.

Q. Germany has announced it will abandon nuclear energy in the coming years. Do you think other countries will follow suit?

A. Yes, in time.

Q. Should all people living in and near Fukushima (e.g. 30 km radius) be permanently evacuated?

A. Not permanently. Once the plant is shut down people could start to return in a year or two.

Q. Does removing the top soil in the area make it safe for children to attend school there?

A. Probably, yes.

Q. What is the best way to deal with food products which may have been contaminated?

A. They should be destroyed

Q. How large should the evacuated zone be?

A. It depends on the progress on the shutting down of the plants.

Q. Highly contaminated water was accidentally discharged into the sea after the accident in Fukushima and could not be stopped for some days, causing worldwide concern; fish in the area were badly affected. Though it may depend on the kind of fish, how long and how wide does this contamination affect the area?

A. It’s impossible to say because of tides and winds.
